Are YOU ready to dash?
Donut Dash 2017.
Get ready for what is going to be the biggest and best Donut Dash the world has ever seen.
This year we will BEAT our goal and raise MORE than the $500,000 we pledged to raise for ALS research happening right here in Pittsburgh. What's more? We're going to do it one year sooner than we said we would!
We are raising money in honor of our hero, Bob Dax. Bob was a beloved and incredible alumni advisor to our fraternity. When he was diagnosed with ALS in 2014, we made our pledge in his honor to show our appreciation for all he has done for our chapter.

On February 5, 2015, LiveLikeLou.org and the University of Pittsburgh announced the formation of the Live Like Lou Center for ALS Research. The new center focuses both on developing new treatments and on improving the quality of life for people who are now living with the progressive, degenerative neurological condition. The ultimate goal: a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
To fund this research center LiveLikeLou.org has pledged to raise $2.5 million dollars over the next five years. Donut Dash is honored to be a part of that initiative by pledging to raise $500,000 in contribution to LiveLikeLou.org’s pledge in honor of our beloved alumni advisor, Bob Dax, who died from ALS in 2017. We have raised over $375,000 in the last three years, will you help us reach our goal?
